The International Virtual University – Medical Campus of Monaco was created at the request of HSH the Prince Albert II and HRH the Princess of Hanover. It has the backing of the Princess Grace Foundation and is the initiative of Professor Philippe Évrard and Mr Lionel Draon. Wide range of projects

Few organisations without any actual infrastructures offer training at such a high-level as that offered by the International Virtual University – Medical Campus of Monaco (UMVM). Mirroring the image of the Principality, only UMVM can offer first-class training to its students. Its main objective is to complete the high-level training of doctors in their overall practice. More… The personal learning environment (PLE) involves a series of courses on new concepts and theories relating to the proposed training. These courses are ‘State of the Art’, as it has been called right from the start of the course. The content evolves and adapts to recent validated discoveries if they are pertinent and meet the pedagogic objectives described. More… Preparing a project, writing it up as a dissertation and a viva are, without doubt, the high point of the training offered by UMVM. Sickle Cell Disease

Sickle cell disease: public health issue.

A new UMVM formation.

This course has been developed by physicians experienced in sickle cell disease. and written by consultants for  the Virtual Medical University of Monaco. It is intended to act as an educational tool for health care personnel who have many responsibilities, limited resources but are still facing a large number of patients. May this information ease your work and assist you in providing better care for your patients with sickle cell disease.

This course is available both in English and in French.
